Kiyah’s journey began with something simple yet profound—a spider web. As a child, her grandmother shared an age-old remedy: clean spider webs could help heal wounds. That moment sparked a lifelong curiosity. From then on, nature became her classroom. She spent her days exploring the outdoors, learning the uses of plants, rocks, and even the behavior of animals.
As she grew, Kiyah became involved in 4-H and other youth development programs that deepened her connection to the natural world. By the time she reached college, her path was clear—she wanted to help people heal through nature, with a focus on self-sufficiency and sustainable harvesting practices.
Today, Kiyah continues her learning in the field, studying plants and their healing properties firsthand. She has authored several books on plant medicine and now dedicates her life to sharing the power of herbalism with others. Her story is rooted in curiosity, guided by tradition, and fueled by a passion for lifelong learning.
